History and concept
Baan Thup Hom Herbal Incense was started in 1995 after a major flood in the villagers’ agricultural areas caused damage and required time to restore the agricultural areas. However, because it did not fit into the community’s way of life, it was changed by finding local materials to reduce production costs and to fit into the local community’s way of life. This resulted in the herbal incense product for repelling mosquitoes, which is similar to incense for worshipping Buddha and is lit in the same way. However, this herbal incense is lit to repel mosquitoes and insects and is not toxic to humans.
